A literature search was undertaken for each of the 21 Principles. The results are presented here. The insights are by turns startling and inspiring. What is clear is that there are no hard and fast truths, and no guarantees as yet, but the evidence is accumulating in support of these principles as a way of optimising our chances of maintaining healthy brains and happy lives as we age.
